A crazy idea, one cup at a time.
What started as a crazy idea of turning an ambulance into a mobile coffee shop has grown into something far more meaningful than we ever imagined.
Founded by Deb, an ER charge nurse whose career has been centered on caring for others, Code Brew is a new way to bring that same heart for service into our community. Through handcrafted coffee and meaningful connections, we're creating an experience where people feel welcomed, appreciated, and cared for one cup at a time.
As Deb's daughter, I remember thinking the whole idea was a little crazy! But along the way, I discovered a love for learning about coffee and, even more, the joy of bringing a little happiness into someone's day. What began as Mom's idea quickly became a family adventure. Rick, Deb's husband, showed up to help with setup and has since become one of our biggest fans and our very own espresso shot man! All three of their daughters are involved in different parts of the business, making this a journey we've been blessed to share together.
Being nurse-owned is a big part of who we are, but it's the heart behind it that matters most. We want the amBREWlance to be more than a place to grab coffee. We want it to be an experience that brings people together, brightens ordinary days, and leaves people feeling a little more cared for than when they arrived.
What started as a crazy idea has become a beautiful business and a new way for our family to serve others. We're so grateful to everyone who has welcomed us and become part of our story.
